Plan Printing Service - Oce Reprodesk - the best CAD plotting software

The Printroom Group now uses Oce Reprodesk. The FREE client version of the program processes your Autocad print files and can print straight from your desktop.

Print Files accepted are DWF print file as well as PLT and .TIFF file formats,
and includes a job ticket form. You can save a record of every job you send to us for future reference. This versatile system is available for download from our site.

Send your work via FTP or directly via modem

Reprodesk has a built-in ftp client that allows you to send jobs automatically through your existing Internet connection.

If you are not connected to the Internet you can still send your job to us remotely by connecting directly to our reprodesk servers through a dialup modem connection. So if your ISP goes down you will still be able to submit your jobs to us at any time.

Setting up Reprodesk at your office

Reprodesk is easy to set up, but there are a few things you need to know before you begin, all users of Reprodesk please contact The Printroom Group prior to sending work remotely

1. Click on download reprodesk in the download box click save it will ask you where to save and click on desktop from the menu dropdown.

2. Click on the download configuration file, in the download box click save again it will ask you where to save and click on desktop from the dropdown menu click close.

 3. Go to your desktop and then click on rdreng.exc, a pg download box opens click on run.

 4. Follow the on screen oce reprodesk server set, up you will need to enter your name and company name in this process.

 5. After installation process it will ask you to restart your computer please select yes.

 6. Once the computer has restarted go to your start menu then go to programs, then click onto reprodesk, then click onto oce reprodesk, then close by clicking on red cross in right hand corner.

7. Click on www.printroom.co.uk on the desktop (this is a globe icon) a download box opens, click on run another download box opens click onto ok then a window opens saying “reprodesk configured” click ok and click close on the oce net window.

8. Go to the start menu then go to programs then click on reprodesk and click on oce reprodesk ( this is the standard procedure to open your reprodesk).     

Then open OCE Reprodesk again: add file’s you wish to be printed press send button and choose modem option.

Modem file has drop down box choose www.printroom.co.uk(ApFTP)

Fill in job sheet and send.
